PAXTON RYDERPaxton stared down the stairs till it no longer interested him, but that was Paxton. He liked something until it bore him, and moved onto the next thing. He turned his face back to her and smiled. “Hmm. Never knew that. Well it’s nice to finally meet you at last, Chasper Jasper.” Paxton greeted. He looked at her for a while, trying to figure out if he really never saw her at the school before. Paxton was pretty sure he knew more than half the female population there.
When he heard what she said next he turned his full body towards her and smirked. What exactly was she talking about? A reward, but for so reason Paxton liked the sound of that… well he liked the sound of many things. “Now, what type of reward are you offering now. And don’t worry Chasper, cocky is my middle name. Well actually it’s Miles, but you know what I mean.” Paxton teased.
Paxton looked down at his shoes, and smiled, then brought his head back up. “Well then, you should be spouting out things like that. I was excited to what that might be.” He laughed, then looked back down the stairs. “So what’s the most interesting thing you like in this school?” He asked her. He always wanted to ask someone that. To find out what they loved the most about this intriguing school, the on going surprises, the never ending hallways, or the always moving stair cases… sorry fopr the shortness, and crapness

Chasper couldn't help but watch him stare down the stairs, when he looked back up he smiled, “Hmm. Never knew that. Well it’s nice to finally meet you at last, Chasper Jasper.” he kept smiling and she tried to remember to breathe.
"And you, too," she smiled back, "I've heard many things about you..." she went on, looking at the railing and placing her small, pale hand on it. She heard things in people's head, of how he could be a real ass and how he could be real nice. Also of how attractive he looked... she'd have to agree on that one.
She looked back up, and rolled her eyes, playfully, "Most of them are good," she replied, laughing a little.
He then turned his full body towards her and smiled, “Now, what type of reward are you offering now. And don’t worry Chasper, cocky is my middle name. Well actually it’s Miles, but you know what I mean.” she couldn't help but giggle a little. She mentally slapped herself for always giggling nowadays.
"I really don't know what reward... but I'll get back to you when I figure it out," she nodded, casually before smiling a little.
“Well then, you should be spouting out things like that. I was excited to what that might be.” he looked back down at the moving stairs below them, “So what’s the most interesting thing you like in this school?” he asked.
She thought a moment, looked back at the railing and moving her fingers on the concrete, "I suppose it's how everyone seems to change their views of someone so easily... one minute they think that I'm - I mean someone..." but she had already slipped, so it was no use, she sighed, "is an anti-social... an outcast," she scrunched up her nose in disgust at the labels, "And the next they think the best of me. They want to... to be me. And I can assure you that that's by far the craziest thing I've heard in a long time," she laughed and looked over the railing, "But I suppose I'm just being modest..." she murmured.
Looking back at him, she asked, "And what about you?" she cocked her head to the side a little and smiled.

PAXTON RYDERPaxton was slightly taken aback, but only slightly. “You’ve heard things about me?” Paxton asked her, curious. What type of rumours were people spreading about him, and from what he could think they were nothing good, all bad… really bad. Though he didn’t really care what people thought of him, if they thought he was a complete idiot or whatever else. He was never one to acknowledge what other people thought of him, all he cared of what he thought of himself. “what sort of things?” He decided to ask her, he really wanted to know what things people were saying. When she said ‘most of them good’ he scoffed. “Don’t worry, you can tell me the truth. I don’t believe that for a minute.” Paxton admitted. If anyone said anything nice about him it was because he was out of the room.
“Alright, well when you figure it out, send me a memo.” he teased. He pondered what type of reward she meant, and he hoped it wasn’t some sort of sick prank that people have played on him… or any prank he played on other people. Though pranks were fun… to be the pranker however, not the prankee.
He stared at her for a moment. He had no clue what she was talking about, or saying. She was speaking a different language. “I’m sorry, I don’t understand… what exactly do you mean?” He asked her, but he was too impatient to wait for an answer “What I like most about this school, or what’s most interesting to me are how many places this school includes inside of it… how many places we have yet to discovered, aren’t allowed to discover. Places to go, explore.. You know what I mean. If I go outside I usually find something new everyday.” Paxton explained, off in his own world. He was just rambling about what he liked about this school best, though there were so many more things he could say. Paxton stepped back from inside his mind, and smiled at Chasper “I’m sorry, what were you saying?”

Chasper saw him look a little... taken aback, “You’ve heard things about me?” he asked. She sighed, "Well... yeah..." she nodded, looking back at him and sort of shrugging a bit, now she wished she hadn't said anything.
“what sort of things?” he asked her, she knew he would, so she shouldn't be surprised, “Don’t worry, you can tell me the truth. I don’t believe that for a minute.” he told her, wanting the truth, obviously.
She sighed, "Most of them are good, I promise. The girls all talk about how attractive you are, the guys say they want to be you sometimes. The only bad things I've heard were that you could be a real stuck-up jerk sometimes and a bit of a..." she looked at him, "A player," she told him, being honest. The only lie she told was that she heard them say it, when she actualyl heard them think it.
"I'm tell you the truth, I promise," she rolled her eyes playfully when she saw that he didn't completely believe her. Of course he wouldn't, she could understand that... but there wasn't much she could do to change his mind.
“Alright, well when you figure it out, send me a memo.” he told her, talking about the 'reward' she said she'd give him, she laughed and nodded, "Keep a lookout for it," she looked over to a moving painting.
He stared at her for a while, obviously not understanding her, “I’m sorry, I don’t understand… what exactly do you mean?” he asked, looking very confused.
"It's just that people used to not talk to me because I didn't let anyone get close enough to, and then suddenly they just start talking to me again... I don't exactly get it... but it's pretty interesting," she had to admit, laughing. He probably still didn't understand her, but she really couldn't make it any simpler.
He then went on to answer her question, “What I like most about this school, or what’s most interesting to me are how many places this school includes inside of it… how many places we have yet to discovered, aren’t allowed to discover. Places to go, explore.. You know what I mean. If I go outside I usually find something new everyday.” he explained, getting lost in his thoughts.
She smiled a little, he wasn't such a total jerk like how everyone 'said' he was... he seemed really nice right now. But that could change at any time...
“I’m sorry, what were you saying?” he asked, popping back out of his thoughts just then and she laughed.
"Nothing at the moment..." she replied, looking back at the picture. "Are you in Quidditch?" she asked, trying to move their conversation forward.

PAXTON RYDER
He listened as she explained what she heard people say. They sounded like all the things he heard about himself, how cocky he was, how people thought he was a payer and shrugged it off. At the attractive issue… well if people like you people like you, if they don’t well then they don’t. He shrugged at that subject as well. Though he was quite taken aback when he heard her say people wanted to be him. “People can’t want to be me? Why would they. For looks alone. Well those people are just downright shallow.” Paxton said teasingly. He knew he was shallow, but he never wished to be anyone else. He was quite comfortable in his skin, he had been living in it for 17 years. “Well I do hope you tell me the truth, I don’t want ego to get any larger off of lies.” He joked, smiling.
He nodded, agreeing with her wholeheartedly. “People are pretty fickle. One minute they hate you, and the next they find you somewhat intriguing and want to get to know you. You shouldn’t stick your self with people like them, they’re what I call ‘fake-ass’” Paxton told her with a smile. He hoped he comforted her, even a little. She seemed quite down on that subject. He twisted his mouth to the side as he tried to think of other stuff to say, but he couldn’t think of anything. There was nothing much to say about people like that other than you shouldn’t associate your self with them.
“Oh.” He said. He thought she said something, but guess not. “Of course I play! I’m chaser. I’m a pretty damn good one if I toot my own horn, but let’s hear what others say to me. What about you? Are you in to it?” He asked her. That’d be something else they had in common if she liked it.

Chasper watched as he got lost in his thoughts that popped into her head every once in a while, he then looked confused, “People can’t want to be me? Why would they. For looks alone. Well those people are just downright shallow.” he teased, “Well I do hope you tell me the truth, I don’t want ego to get any larger off of lies.” he smiled at her.
Chasper shook her head, "I don't tell lies. I've always been told lies... but I don't tell lies." she smiled to lighten the mood. Chasper rarely - very rarely - ever lied. And when she did, it was mostly just for Max so that they could go to Hogsmeade and get something for some pranks or just to have fun. It was never about anything serious that affected people's lives completely.
“People are pretty fickle. One minute they hate you, and the next they find you somewhat intriguing and want to get to know you. You shouldn’t stick your self with people like them, they’re what I call ‘fake-ass’." he told her, causing her to be surprised that he knew what she was talking about. Chasper nodded, "I don't like to associate myself with people like that. Or as you say, fake ass people." she grinned.
“Oh.” he said, just before everything got a little quiet. She used that time to think, something she did often. She thought about the conversation she had with Zoltin and how she'd try so hard to not let herself ruin anything for him and Katrina. She thought about her meeting with Katrina and how it went okay, but would probably mean nothing once Katrina found out how Zoltin felt about Chasper. Chasper then thought about her meeting with Max and how it went amazing. She had told him her two deepest, darkest secrets and he took it so well. Chasper smiled, he was amazing inside and out.
Just then, Paxton answered her Quidditch question, causing her to jump out of her thoughts, “Of course I play! I’m chaser. I’m a pretty damn good one if I toot my own horn, but let’s hear what others say to me. What about you? Are you in to it?” he asked after answering.
She smiled, glad that the topic was on one of her favorite hobbies, "Of course I am. I play seeker. And if I may toot my own horn, I'm also pretty damn good," she laughed. At least that was what she heard in people's thoughts whenever the topic was on Quidditch. She wasn't so sure if she believed them, but it worked.
