One minute Tallia was laughing and the next she was held at gun point, well ‘wand’ point. “Take- that- back” was all Katrina said. Tallia knew she wasn’t going to do anything, but still it scared her, she never saw her react so furiously. Soon she caught her breath and laughed a breathy laugh, “For a minute I thought you were going to do something.” She admitted, she knew she shouldn’t have said anything but it was too tempting. She knew that she hated him with a passion, she didn’t like talking about him, looking at him, or even hearing his name. Tallia laughed inwardly, something was going on behind this. When Katrina lowered her wand, Tallia gained all her breath back into her lungs.

“Talking about yourself in third person now are we?” Tallia laughed at turned around just in time to see Katrina laughing, hard. Girls certainly were strange creatures. “You sound like some cocky super model, or famous person.” Tallia admitted.

Regaining her strength, she pulled a neutral face. “But seriously, don’t do that again, that freaked me out. I thought we might have been going back to… the past or something. Really. I don’t want to.” Tallia confessed. She preferred to joke around, verbally, and not physically with wands and such.
“You know, a spell might have been set off or something.” Tallia said, teasingly. “You could have killed me.” She laughed as she pulled a ‘damsel in distress’ pose.

kat laughed, "you don't actually think i'd hurt someone else when, technically, it wasn't even their fault for me wanting him to just go die?" she said, smirking. her eyes faded slightly, returning to a slight violet with only a little bit of a red tint in the right side of her left eye. she took a few deep breaths, letting her heart beat slow and her body rest from it's tensing phase. kat could really get all emotional about it, because he was just so cocky and so... sure of himself, it was almost like a false confidence, but worse. kat (and the rest of the school) knew about the rest of the female population liking him at at least one point in their lives, and then realizing he was a jerk and going back to a simple shameless flirting. even kat had that phase. but that had been for five seconds before she had first hand experience of his bitterness and oh-so-awesomeness. she saw through it now. without his admirers, he was nothing. he was pathetic.

kat smiled apologetically, "sorry about that. but you of all people should know how worked up i get when someone pisses me off." she said with a foolish smile and raising her shoulder slightly.

Tallia laughed and smiled “I know who you want to die!” Tallia giggled as she grabbed Katrina’s hand and began towing her down the hallway. She wasn’t in the mood to stand in one place, plus Professor Binns might ask for help with something, and she didn’t want to waste her lunch period helping a teacher. From the corner of her eye, Tallia watched Katrina who seemed deep in thought, and when she thought of her boyfriend she had a dazed sort of look to her face, but this wasn’t one of those looks. Her face reveal bleakness and there was only one person she thought of when he face showed that, Paxton Ryder. Granted Paxton was gorgeous, but he had a terrible personality to match. Tallia laughed to herself, if she hadn’t known better she’d have thought there was something going on between those two, but she decided to keep that idea to herself.

“Of course, you used to get worked up over me, and the other way around.” Tallia smiled and hooked her arm around Katrina’s “But I have to say, I’d be lost without your friendship, really.” she said, turning he head and smiling at Katrina, and she meant it. She was genuinely happy they got over their whole rivalry incident and became good friends, although they aren’t best friends, and they still had some rough patches.

Deciding to change the subject, she decided to ask a question. “So how’s the boyfriends?” Tallia asked, she knew Katrina liked to talk about her boyfriend, though she wasn’t boy crazy… or so she thought. She had to admit they were the cutest couple together.

kat shot a sideways grin at tallia and smiled foolishly. "is it that obvious?" she said, laughing at how everyone seemed to know she and paxton wanted eachother gone and dead. her more so then him since he was always seemingly unfazed on the outside and she was always easily worked up. not that she really minded people knowing, it gave them a reason not to bring it up.

"yeah, well... you're not a terrible person. he is." she said with a smirk, "you actually have feelings, and he doesn't... and you're a nice person and he obviously isn't. plus, you don't use people like he does." she scoffed. she knew that a guy like him probably used girls like her and tallia daily. kat ran her fingers through her hair and exhaled as she was dragged down the corridor, away from the comfort of a teacher being right there if kat got a little too pissed off. not like professor binns noticed anything other than his textbooks.. how someone could be like that was beyond her.

"zoltin's... he's great, i guess." she said, hugging her books to her chest and beaming at nothing in particular. "we don't hang out as often as i do with you or anyone else, but we're good. but what about you - do you have a love interest yet?" she teased her, wiggling her fingers at the word love and smiling at her, her eyes entirely glazed over with a pink tint now.

Tallia smiled to herself and looked at the ground, then turned to Katrina, “I bet everyone wanted Paxton Ryder to die at least once in his life. I certainly did.” Tallia admitted with a blush, but she didn’t want to tell her when, but the incident was going to bruise her for life, her pride that is. She could have killed him at that very moment, but she didn’t want to think about such an embarrassing thing.

“Well he is human, so I bet he has… some feelings. I bet he loves his parents and stuff… you know.” Tallia explained, trying to come up with something, but it never seemed like anything bothered him. He was always so cool and composed, maybe that’s why people were so drawn to him, that’s why Tallia had been. It seemed like he didn’t have a care in the world. Shaking her head, she hoped all thoughts of Paxton had disappeared . Tallia took a rubber band from the pocket of her book bag and put it in her hair, making it a very neat bun.

“You sounds kind of… uncertain. Is everything OK with you two? I really hope you guys don’t drift apart and do anything you’d regret.” Tallia announced, as she looked at Katrina’s face. She still looked love struck, but not as much as she used to, in the old day (while they were still friends concourse) “Me? A love interest? HA! Who’d be interested in a person like me, I’m utterly boring. I bored of being myself even.” Tallia sighed, and she was pretty sure that’s what Katrina thought of her. That’s how she felt and she was pretty certain that’s how everyone else felt about her. “No one would be interested in me..” Tallia mumbled quietly to herself.

katrina grinned and shrugged, "i'm sure everyone has. and then they fall for his charm and then hate him again." she said, picturing a girl's face, mimicking her thoughts from frustrated to charmed to frustrated again. hm.. sound familiar? "me more then others, though. not the charm part though - ugh. but just... loathing... loathing.. loathing..." she said, laughing.

"are you one hundred percent sure about that?" she laughed, shaking her head, amused. "alright - fine, maybe his parents... but do you honestly think he'll be nice to any of us? except for the ones who're willing to give him what he wants, that is. and what he wants - i'll have no idea." she said, smirking. she tucked some hair behind her ear and pulled her wand out from behind her ear and she made a few flowers erupt from the end of it, falling to the carpeted floor.

"no! no, we're fine. i just haven't seen him in a while." she reassured her, kind of amused at how she seemed to care a lot whether they lasted or not. nevertheless, she cared as well for their relationship, but didn't see it crashing against the shore and breaking anytime soon. thank god.
