molly wondered the corridors, some portraits watching her. she was tired, and had just finished her essay after several hours of coping the two foot parchment. needing to move for a while, she escaped to the corridors, as she did often at night. luckily she had never run into Peeves, but she never could know when he`d fly down the corridor.

her wand`s tip glowed with light leading the way, which caused some portraits to hell at her. she didn`t listen to them, unless they said hello first. only one had done that today, but that was the one closest to the great hall, and it was right before breakfast.

she giggled as one started yelling louder at her. she shook her head and turned the corner, not bothering to stop her wand from glowing.

Paxton was bored, his friends were all hanging out in the common room and he didn’t feel like sitting around talking about useless junk, so he had decided to go out for a walk. Walking around Hogwarts academy was never boring, different things appeared from time to time, the staircases moved, everything was on going excitement from day in to day out.

Grinning in the darkness he decided he didn’t want his wand to light his way, having light lead you was boring, walking in the darkness was always exciting . Anything could pop out at you, the portraits would try to scare you, anything could happen, and that certainly didn’t scare Paxton. He was quite content in the darkness, it was mysterious sorta like him, but he considered himself mysterious even if others considered him obnxious.

AS he went down the hall he saw a glowing light right ahead of him. He cocked his head, trying to determine what it was, but the only explaination for it was that it was a wand. Paxton slowed his walk to a crawl, trying to determine who this person or thing was that was heading right for him.
“Hello?!” He called out, hoping to discover who this person was. Or thing

molly jumped in the air when someone called out `hello`. she recognized the voice, but it didn`t mean he didn`t startle her. turning around she saw the silhouette of the person called out to her.

"hello? paxton, is that you?" she questioned toward the silhouette of the thing standing in front of her. molly was sure it was, seeing as it stood like him and sounded like him, but she couldn`t be sure.

she fumbled foward a step, squinting her eyes to see if it was him. the light from her wand illuminated her face, so he`d know it was her, but not the other way around.

she grabbed a peice of her hair and moved it out of her face, hoping that would make it seem better. it didn`t of course, but she tried. she wanted to move closer to check if it was, but if it wasn`t she wasn`t sure what would happen.

As Paxton heard that voice he immediately recognized it, it was his... sort of friend Molly Driver. Their relationship was way to complicated for word, sometimes they were friends sometimes they weren’t sometimes he liked her, other times he didn’t it. But like he thought it was too complicated for words.
“Yeah, it’s me. Are you Molly or Molly’s ghost?” He joked, gabbing hold of the banister to it could lead him down the corridor easier.

A second later a light was pushed into his face, and he squinted through it. The female in front of him was indeed Molly, and he smiled. He watched her fumble and he grabbed her elbows in order to steady her. He let go of one of her elbows and pulled his wand out from his pocket and said an incantation, and the end of the wand exploded with light, and pointed it to his face
“It’s alright, it’s just me, don’t worry.” Paxton said letting go of her completely “What, you scared of a little darkness?” Paxton taunted, leaning up against the wall.

He was strange though. There were times when Paxton was compassionate and nice, but then he’d turn it around and become rude and mean, but that was who Paxton Ryder was, and he wasn’t going to change for anyone. [/center]

"don`t be dumb, of course it`s me," molly retorted back, but she was smiling slightly. that`s how they where, nice and mean to each other. she didn`t mind, it just came and went.

she gasped slightly when he caught her, caught off guard. when let one elbow go, she attempted to steady herself. clumsy she was. when the let her go, she stumbled back, steading herself. molly didn`t trip this time though, luckily enough.

"no, i couldn`t see, and i don`t walk well when i can`t see," molly said, rolling her eyes slightly. it was true, balance wasn`t her thing, unless she was on a broom. then it was a different story altogether.

"i don`t think you`d want me to be walking into you on accident," she commented, trying not to smile.

Paxton laughed “I’m not being dumb! You could have died over night or something… like that.” He said, chuckling to himself. He folded his arms as he watched her for a little while, then turned away and looked down the hall way. No one seemed to be coming their way. He wondered why it was so dark in there, it wasn’t exactly midnight.

He brought his gaze back to Molly and smiled “I didn’t think you could walk well period.” Paxton teased, as he got off the wall and leaned up against the banister. For some reason Paxton preferred to lean up against things instead of stand there with nothing to do. Paxton looked down the stairs and saw the below staircases moving, transferring to different ends of the floor. He always found it amusing to watch the stairs move from one end to the next.

He looked back at Molly and smirked “I wouldn’t mind you walking into me, it’d be a nice little surprise” Paxton joked. There were times when they were nice to each other and times when they weren’t but they were also times when they acted a little more than friends to each other.

"well, i try, don`t i?" she asked, though not really for an answer. molly rolled her eyes slightly, jokingly. not daring to take another step for fear of falling yet again, she tried to find balance standing. luckily she did, and she lowered her wand so it was illuminating a greater space.

"a nice suprise? sure it would be," molly said, rolling her eyes yet again.

to some people, running into her might be, but with paxton, she never knew. it just depended how they felt that day. and since she had mixed feelings about that day, she really didn`t know what to feel about paxton. but, that happened a lot with him now-a-days.

"make anyone mad yet today?" molly asked, raising an eyebrow slightly. she knew if he did he could possibly make him in a good mood. or it might not, she never knew.

Paxton chuckled to himself “Well, it sounds like you have a bit of sarcasm in you voice now,” he said, running his hand along the banister back and forth, bored. It was unusual for him to have absolutely nothing to say because he always had something to say. Some witty remark, something mean, but for some reason he couldn’t bring himself to be mean to Molly. Maybe it was because she was so sweet natured.

He looked up at her question and laughed, “Do you think I get someone made everyday… well of course I do, just not yet.” Paxton replied, and winked at her. “What about you, made anyone mad today?” he asked her, but he knew it was impossible. Molly never made anyone mad, or it barely happened. Of course she got hot headed around him sometimes, and he got hot headed around everyone so that’s was abnormal for him in the least.

sarcasm. it was something she did sometimes, but she was more sarcastic with paxton than with anyone else. it wasn`t mean, but playful on her end, sometimes. molly thought she was bad at it, but when people believed her when she was being sarcastic, it convinced her otherwise.

"nope, i`m clean today," molly stated, laughing softly. she and paxton knew that her making anyone mad was a rarity, and only happened when she got a hot head. it was true though, besides from talking to ryan, she hadn`t really talked to anyone; she was busy hurrying to finish the essays so she wouldn`t have to worry about them. luckily for her, she was now finally done, loud common room or not.

"anything particularly interesting happen to you today?" she questioned, not knowing what else to say.
