Rickers(For Joshman) Rick drummed his long fingers on the surface of the smooth Gryffindor table. His other elbow was being supported by it's surface so he could lean his head on the palm of his hand. He had reached a new level of boredom. True, he had all those assignments he could be doing, but when did he ever do his homework? 'Molly and Kat are going to kill me,' he thought with the flicker of a smile crossing his bored features. Those girls were always pestering him about not completing his work and underachieving. They always told him that he was "smart, he just didn't try hard enough." Well, he didn't want to try and he wasn't going to just because some one told him to.
So, instead of doing any work what-so-ever, he had decided to sit in the Great Hall hours before dinner would be served and wait for his food. Oh, what fun he was having. The only enjoyable part about sitting around here was people watching. Or wizard watching technically. It seemed that even when he was sitting and doing absolutely nothing, he was still of interest. He raised an eyebrow as a young fifth year gryffindor walked past the table for what seemed like the seventh time. This time she met his cool gaze with her bright blue eyes and giggled, "Hey there Rick."
His mouth widened into a handsome grin, "'ello love." Don't get the wrong impression, he didn't actually know her and call her by pet names. He just didn't remember her name even though he was pretty sure they had "met" quite a few times. He gave her a little wink and she giggled again before continuing her stroll around the great hall. His green eyes shimmered with interest as they followed her out of the room. She'd be back soon, probably with more confidence this time. 'Maybe we'll get through a whole three sentences!' he chuckled sarcastically. He was considering following her but for now he'd just continue to drum his fingers on the table.

. . + troubles MELT LIKE lemon drops[/blockquote] His head was dragging on the top of his neck. He had been alright all day, actually smiling a lot more than normal, and then he just started thinking about everything. Over-analyzing and predicting things that he'd already mulled over in his mind too many times to count on all his fingers and toes.
He didn't know how he had reached this point. Everyone had always said he was such a level-headed person, so calm, and so easy to be around. And he always tried to be good about things...but now he had a few people he would just like to magic out of his life. Mainly Chris, and maybe Adelle. But both could be pleasant, he knew, and they were probably both good people. How many times was he going to use that word?
He lifted his head up as he entered the Great Hall. Zoltin had decided to chow down, hoping it would either help him sort out his issues, if they were even that serious, or forget them completely. And then he saw a blue-eyed, handsome wizard relaxed at the Gryffindor table, he knew he was going to feel good soon.
"Hey," Zoltin waved with a small whisk of his hand, sitting down across from Rick. He noticed the smug grin on his face and immediately did a search around the room for what witch it was this time. When he found the fifth year, Zoltin immediately rolled his eyes and then laughed aloud. "The day I meet a girl who does not completely fall for you, Rickers, is the day I find another one."

RickersAnd I'll Sing You A Song Tap. Tap. Tap went the fingers as he continued to glance occasionally at the fifth year that was gazing at him from her group of giggling friends. 'To go or not to go' he mused as he drummed. Well, it couldn't hurt him, except perhaps making him miss an even better opportunity. He would wait a couple more minutes, and then get up. Just as he was about to rise out of wallowing in his boredom and saunter over to a little bit of fun, he heard the only voice that he would turn down a women for.
"Joshman!" he exclaimed with a grin as he turned his complete attention to the silver haired man across from him. His hand stretched over the table and ruffled his locks, which he knew he hated. "How are you mate?" The grin now danced across his features was one of true interest. "Long time no see."
He was wondering what Zoltin was looking for as he glanced around the room, but Rick just laughed at his comment. "Please, the day that a woman doesn't completely fall for me...when hell freezes over." He teased as he turned to the group of girls and gave them a little wave. They all started giggling and talking to each other anxiously. He arched his brow once more as he turned back and shrugged. "But thank goodness you came Joshman, or I might have to have settled with fifth years! I'm honestly running out of women. Maybe I'll just have to go to another school..." he joked and traced some designs on the surface of the table.

. . + troubles MELT LIKE lemon drops[/blockquote] "You leave for another school and you'll find me in your briefcase," he laughed, watching him outline figures on the smooth marble table. He wasn't sure how he would end up if Rickers left for another school, like Antonio did. And he'd always blame himself for that, since he'd had that outburst and Antonio had almost left the next day. The memory just brought him down lower.
"Rickers," he sighed, "everything has been bothering me lately. I mean, you already know with Kat and Chris and everything. It just hit me again a few minutes ago. She's way out my league and I just know Chris has feelings for her." Zoltin drew out a long groan, his eyes heavy and his head tilted as he stared at Rick, who was listening intently. He was so glad Channing was his friend. And that was why he was talking so much about problems he knew he was obsessing over. Rick would help out and make him feel clear again.
"Then, recently, Kat was down and she wouldn't really tell me what was on her mind. She said it was just all these things happening and it was overwhelming, but she wouldn't say what."
"I'm obsessing, aren't I?"

RickersWith A Little Help From My Friends "You'll resort to being a stowaway? Wow...I feel loved," he grinned as his gaze locked with his little brothers. He couldn't ever leave him, he knew how much Zoltin needed him sometimes. Although he was only a year older, Rick had always felt responsible for his Joshman. He knew he depended on him for listening to problems and coming up with occasionally serious advice. Judging by the look that was gracing Zoltin's face, that's what he needed right now.
Rick just listened intently and nodded when he should. He knew that sometimes you just needed to talk it out first, and then receive the advice portion. When Josh finally finished he cleared his throat, preparing for his wise words of wisdom. "Well first of all, I'm always willing to kick Chris's arse," he said with a soft joking smile. He always started with a joke, because he knew that Joshman needed to smile. "And, I'm saying this for your own good, you need to let it go man. I mean, you have every right to be suspicious of this 'Chris' character, as I've said before, but you trust Katrina right? I mean think about it...Kat...when has she ever done anything wrong in her entire life?" he asked with a comforting gaze. "The thing that's bugging her...well maybe she got below an O on a test or something," he was joking, but that was something that Kat could get upset about.
A guilty feeling was nagging at Rick and he didn't want to admit, even to himself, what it was. Zoltin was so torn up about this guy possibly trying to steal his girl and Rick's stupid conscience[yes he did have one] kept reminding him of all the times he had thought about Kat as more than a friend. A light shiver ran down his spine and internally he shook his head, 'No. no. no. I don't like Kat. Not one bit.' On the outside, his face still retained his collected smile, "Just trust her."

. . # I AM music AND I WRITE THE songs[/blockquote] Rick always knew to make him laugh when he needed it. Especially now. And there was some comfort that if Zoltin wasn't going to be the one who got Chris, maybe Rickers would be. It made him feel assured.
And so did everything else Channing was saying. It alllmade sense, and truth be told Zoltin had tried telling himself the same thing, but when Rick said it it actually worked. Like the voice of reason was Rickers, as parallel dimensional as that seemed. So Joshman was left smiling somewhat after his words.
"I do trust her," he nodded, "I just don't trust him. And others. She says she hates Paxton, but there's something that tells me..." he paused, rolling his eyes completely, "let's just not get into that. But...thanks, Rickers. Like always."
"Anyway," Zoltin started, "are there any girls among the castle that you have come to fancying more than others? Not seriously, of course," he scoffed, "like that could happen. But, femme fatals worth mentioning to the Joshman."

RickersI Just Need Someone To Love Paxton. oh he'd hoped the conversation wouldn't bring him up, but of course, his hopes had been dashed. His friend Ryder had always been an awkward subject between Rick and his other Gryffindors. Many of them were still harboring the old rivalries and couldn't stand that Channing was friends with a Slytherin. Rick had banished "house rivalries" awhile ago. After all, some of the hottest babes were in other houses. It's not like he would root for the slytherins at a quidditch match or anything, he just didn't hate a person just because they happened to be in a certain house.
Yes, Ryder got on his nerves sometimes but Rick knew that he wasn't the most well-loved person in the school either. Most of the guys hated him actually...probably because their girlfriends liked him. But what about Paxton and Katrina? A weird feeling stirred within him. He had never really felt jealous about anyone but suddenly he had the urge to punch Ryder in the face. Well, he'd never felt that away about Zoltin...but that was only because he felt too guilty to feel like that. "I'm sure it's nothing." He said it almost to convince himself as much as it was to convince Joshers.
When he asked about women that caught Rick's eye a thought instantly sprang into his mind. Katrina...bloody hell! no! As his mind fought with itself he tossled his hair casually. "Nah...I already 'know' most of the fifth through seventh years and if I go any lower it would almost be illegal." He chortled softly and continued to mess with his blonde locks. He tended to play with his hair when he was uncomfortable

. . # I AM music AND I WRITE THE songs[/blockquote] "Too bad," Zoltin chuckled, more to himself than in the open, "really limits you, doesn't it? Poor, poor Rickles." Part of him meant that, and the other part didn't really know what he was talking about. Everyone seemed to fall for Rickers, even Katrina's cheeks seemed to flush sometimes, and Zoltin understood that Channing was extremely good looking and charming, but so was Zoltin. Or at least, that was what he was told.
"And this is your last year," he observed, looking around the Great Hall casually, "you're running out of time. Gotta chase tails fast, Channingdude. Of course, the summer will be good, right. Planning anything there? What did you last summer?"
Zoltin began to daydream lazily about the summer he had only recently left. Kat had visited a minimal amount of times, which had actually started in a quarrel between them. It was long time since then, but he knew it still bothered her. But he'd come more needing of his own time. In fact, he was beginning to turn into a hermit.
That's another reason why Joshman needed friends like Channingdude. To keep him out and about and pulling pranks and bringing him back to life. Or else he'd become a weirdo who analyzed details of napkins and kept to himself with greasy silver hair. That would be a mockery.

RickersI Just Want Someone To Love Rick's lips parted to release a mournful sigh, "I know Z man, I'm restricted by my own age. It was much better when I wasn't the eldest! Then I could date up too..." he grinned at the thought of the older witches he had been on dates with. 'Wooe now those were some good times.' he thought to himself. If he was alone he would've gotten lost in his reminiscing, but he had to remember he was supposed to be having a conversation. "Well I'm not as restricted as you mister one-woman man! I honestly don't know how you've managed that," he grinned as he leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms behind his head. Of course this flex of muscle got another sigh out of the adoring flock watching them.
He rolled his eyes as if it was an annoyance, but they both knew that he loved every second of being loved. "Eh I can take my time. Usually they come to me mate," he winked and tossed his head towards the girls. "I don't do much chasing anymore." At the mention of the summer his smile widened. "Ah the summer. Joshy you've got to go to Italy sometime. The Italian girls," he wiggled his eyebrows, "Ciao Bella!" He chuckled, "That's basically the only phrase I needed to know how to say..."
Next Summer. It seemed so very far away. He still has so much school to get through before he could enjoy sun, the ocean, and women who wanted nothing to do with a 'committed relationship.' Perfection. "What about you Zolters? How was your summer? Meet any gorgeous babes...for me of course."
