Matthew CunningMatthew watched Burgundy's cheeks change color from normal skin tone to pink. This only made Matt smile more... if possible. Burgundy was his true love. Maybe the on/off thing was because they both didn't know how to admit it?
Matthew's eyes lit up when he heard Burgundy say that. He was pretty sure his heart did a few leaps too. "I think the truth is that I love you but I'm never sure how to admit it," Matt spoke softly and genuinely. "Maybe I'm just scared, I'm not sure, but I do know I don't feel this way about anyone else." It was true. He had past relationships but none were never this strong... none.

"I think the truth is that I love you but I'm never sure how to admit it," Aww, that made her swoon internally. And he had just said the three words that she had been waiting to hear from someone her whole life. He loved her. He fucking loved her. "I love you too." She grinned even wider, if that was possible, which it probably wasn't. She was beaming and shining right now.
"Maybe I'm just scared, I'm not sure, but I do know I don't feel this way about anyone else." It was right then when she scooted closer to him and planted her lips fully on his. She had missed kissing him, it had felt like an eternity. And kissing him always made her happy. Pulling back after a few minutes she smiled and bit her bottom lip. "I honestly don't think I feel this way about anyone but you." She said kind of timidly, which was strange for her, she was never timid. But being around him made her like that, she was like the shy school girl around him.

Matthew CunningWoah. She said I love you too. That feeling, of hearing those words, was possibly the best feeling ever. Not even possibly, it was. I love you from family members was common but from somebody who didn't have to love you? That was different. Matt continued smiling like an idiot but he was too happy for words at this point.
Matt watch Burgundy move in and kiss him on the lips. He loved the feeling of kissing Burgundy. Matthew smiled as she pulled away and laughed softly when she spoke. "You've made me the happiest guy in the world," Matt spoke truthfully. Usually Matt was loud and rebellious but when he was around Burgundy, he was a little less outspoken and actually cared what she would think of him.

"You've made me the happiest guy in the world," She beamed at him. He had made her the happiest girl in the world by just being right there with her. She had never really felt like beaming like an idiot around anyone, except him, which was weird because she cared about what he thought about her, he didn't want him to think she was an idiot. But one would think she was because she had been smiling like this for quite some time now.
"I think that we should get back together." She said while taking his hand and lacing her fingers with his. She didn't want to break up with him this time, not until they truly didn't love each other anymore, but she didn't think that she would be falling out of love anytime soon.
She liked the feeling of having her hands with his, it seemed to make sense, like they were made for each other. And who cared that he was only a year younger then her? Age was a number.

Matthew Cunning"I think we should too," Matt replied and smiled at her. Maybe this time they could stay on and be on, for a long time. Something does feel different about getting together this time. It felt as though Matt was going to try his hardest to keep it together, no matter what.
Matt loved his hands being laced with Burgundy's. Like a puzzle piece, finally put together. Burgundy was an age older but a year was but a number when it came to love. Besides, Matt had heard of other ridiculous age differences, mostly from muggles. "I want to make it last this time," Matthew told Burgundy truthfully.

"I think we should too," She smiled and leaned over to kiss him again, which she did. It just felt more official if she had kissed him, she didn't know why, but it just did. "This time you've made me the happiest girl alive." She smiled as she said this. She was still inches by his face, and she didn't dare move. She wanted to stay like that until he moved away.
"I want to make it last this time," She had wanted to make it work too. She honestly didn't want to be with anyone else but him. "I do too." She said truthfully, their hands still laced together. She was glad that they ran into each other right now. She was glad that she had someone who was as awesome as he was.

Matthew CunningMatt smiled again when they pulled back from the kiss. The official kiss, as they usually called it. "All I want to do is make you happy," Matthew said softly, still inches away from Burgundy and had no intentions of moving. People walking past were giving them looks but whatever. Matthew could only Burgundy when he was with her. She was all that mattered.
"I'm glad that I met you my first year here," Matt began, "I think that if we met anytime later we wouldn't have gotten this close." They may have been friends but they probably wouldn't have felt like this about each other if they had met any later. Burgundy was the best. She was everything Matt needed and Matt would try to be everything she needed.

"All I want to do is make you happy," She loved how completely romantic he was. Really, she wouldn't have him any other way. "You always make me happy." She whispered back. There was really no point in talking normal or shouting, he was right there, and it seemed like he didn't want to move. She saw some people giving them looks as they walked by, but she didn't care. He was all that mattered right now, all that she could focus on.
"I'm glad that I met you my first year here," Matt began, "I think that if we met anytime later we wouldn't have gotten this close." He was right, if they had met even a month later, they wouldn't probably be right here now kissing, but instead be best friends. But Burgundy preferred kissing over friends with him. She just liked him that much. "Me too, I dunno where I would be if you weren't in my life." She said honestly. Maybe she would be right here, kissing someone who was not the best for her right now? Well, she never had to find out.

Matthew Cunning"I'm really happy to hear that," Matthew whispered and laughed softly. Happy was in the conservation alot. But happy was one word he knew that could describe how he was feeling. Happy and love struck. It wasn't even Valentine's Day and Matt felt like cupid shot him in the butt again. Matthew just gazed into Burgundy's perfectly brown eyes, easily lost and hardly found.
"I don't think I would know what to do with myself," Matthew said, caressing Burgundy's hands. The softness to the touch was heavenly and just having her touch him made him feel those butterflies that had gone away. It was true, Matt had never felt this way before about anyone else. And truthfully... he didn't want to in the least bit. He was in love.
