Burgundy watched in triumph as his eyes narrowed. It seemed that he wished, or hoped, that his eyes would shoot daggers into her, and she knew that she had gotten the reaction she wanted. Maybe Ryan wanted to duct tape her lips shut, he wasn't one to be very violent, or wanted to whack her in the head. Burgundy one, Ryan nada. "Oh she's amazing, how about Rick? i'm sure you know him...deeply. Does he...whats his name...your boyfriend know?" Since she had gotten to him, he had gotten to her right back. How did he know about Ricky? No one but her and Ricky knew about their secret relationship, so how in the world did he find out about it? She felt herself freeze up when he mentioned it her dark eyes narrowed as she bit down on her tongue to control the anger. Well, now it was on. "First of all, I would like to know how you found out about Ricky." She didn't hide the bitterness that seemed to swallow her usually calm voice. "And no, Matt doesn't know because me and Ricky haven't been together since Matt and I got together." She glared at him. He had struck a very big nerve he had. And dammit, it was now, Burgundy one, Ryan one. "And i thought you'd stop cheating after we were over... You never learn, do you?" She frowned, she didn't mean to cheat on him, if you even call it that. When she was talking to some random 7th year last year, the guy had kissed her first, and while she sat there, stunned and about to push him away claiming she had a boyfriend, someone had caught them and immediatly told Ryan, which made him hate her guts, he probably still did hate her. But she didn't really hate him, just annoyed because Ryan always shoved the fact that he was better then her in more ways then on in her face. Hence, they annoyance. But right now she was just making excuses in her head. She straighted her posture and looked him directly in the eye. "I'm not cheating. I haven't kissed anyone besides Matt since we got back together." She said matter-of-factly. Her and Ricky haven't even seen each other since the episode in the detention room, so, really the only one she had kissed was Matt, and that's the way it should be. She kicked the ground with the top of her foot, wondering if she should say what she was going to say, although it was really harsh and mean. And it was about him and Molly. "Did Molly really run to Rick after she drank her heart out?" She whispered, secretly, she was infatuated with Rick, and she shouldn't because he wasn't really one for relationships, and she loved Matt, but Jesus, something about him made her always want more, and if Molly really did run to Rick, she would just..die. She shook her head. "You know, forget I said that." She knew he wouldn't forget, she didn't want to know the answer though. ”Clever trick, `aint it?” She looked at it and nodded. Were they actually having a civilized conversation? Was it possible for them to do that? Well, after they got all their insults out and what not, it usually got less tense, unless they said something to make the atmosphere really awkward. Usually it was Burgundy that did that. "It is, how do you do that?" She watched with interest, and also wondering what year he learned that in. It was probably a few years ago, like when he was in 4th year, she didnt really pay attention in that year, she was too busy trying to understand what the hell was going on. “Jesus woman, sit She raised an eyebrow at him when he swished his wand, but understood when a bench hit her legs. She wasn't expecting this at all - she was watching the fire, glad that she wasn't freezing anymore - and this caused her to stumble. Finally, she fell onto the bench, and pulled one leg to her chest, wrapping her hands around it and setting her chin on her knee. "Falling is not funny. I would have to get you if I fell." She smirked, joking. Did she just spit out a joke? Huh, maybe she had a fever? Or maybe the Ricky comment made her put up a bunch of walls? Who knew?[/blockquote][/blockquote]

. ryan Her eyes narrowed when he mentioned Rick, and he nearly laughed. Seemed like he had found her soft spot, just like she had found his. He wondered if she would tell what their conversation had been about to her friends, spreading gossip. Although he didn't mind as much as she did, as the whole school knew about him and Molly, but not about her and Rick. Of this recent turn of events, he was the winner, so it seemed. Although he wasn't enjoying the conversation that much, as it hurted them both, but he couldn't help but answer. She deserved an answer, so why not just tell her about that night? He had nothing to lose.
"Well, dear lady,"he said, straightening himself up as he heard the venom in her voice. He really didn't want to do this, but he had no other choice. She'd started first!"In one of my infamous prefect rounds around school, I managed to stumble across an open classroom..." he trailed on, hoping she understood how it continued. "You don't trust him enough to tell him, then?"he questioned, unable to believe that such drama was going on inside school. He'd been living there for 6 years and he'd never been aware of the issues that went on inside school.
He knew she was thinking about what had happened last year, when some random first year had run to him and told him "the blond girl you're always kissing is being really nice to a boy." which made him panic instantly. He had searched the school far and wide, desperately looking for her, to see if the first year was lying. His first "girlfriend" cheating on him...it was something he couldn't bear. It hurt him even more when she told him that a random 7th year came up and kissed her, and she didn't break free. Two things he couldn't understand was what she was doing for a 7th year to want to kiss her, and why she hadn't told him. He wouldn't have gone to hunt down the student, but, after they were over, he did smash a window or two. It wasn't been entirely her fault, but it was, as the same time. It still hurt to remember it, even though he was head over heels for Molly. And liked Maddi, too. God, what was up with the girls around him? "You still didn't tell him. But don't worry, I won't tell anyone. You know he secretive I am."he said with a slight smile on his face, trying to calm her and hoping that he didn't upset her. Burgundy wasn't the most loyal person, and he was sure she still felt terrible about it, so he didn't want to make her feel worse.
He stiffened, remembering the conversation he'd have with Molly about it. He instantly felt horrible again, not feeling up to having this conversation anymore. Molly drunk, and falling down...her running to Rick and probably crying her heart out... him staying up at the tower, not being able to sleep that night. And the fact that Rick wanted to beat him up...then he wondered, what had happened that night? He knew Molly and Rick were close, really close, but he didn't want to believe... Molly couldn't like Rick, could she? They were so different, whilst him and Molly were like the perfect couple. So thats why she hadn't been able to say anything, because she didn't like him, she liked Rick! And after kissing him, she'd ran up to Rick to tell her everything, and now Rick wanted to kill him because he'd kissed her girl. He groaned.
"She..."he hung his head, then didn't continue. If she didn't want to know the truth, then he wouldn't tell her. Seems like they were both stuck in the same square. He sighed, who would've thought that he'd finally have something in common with her, as bad as it was. They were both broken hearted. Yay.
He smiled, watching the flames dancing around them. "Incendio, thats what it is. And I discovered how to make them float like this once, when I was freezing in the tower. I don't know how it happened, maybe I moved my wand too quickly, but i managed to move the flame. Then I started experimenting with Wingardium Leviosa, and thats how they're floating. Don't know why they don't burn, but I wouldn't touch them just in case."he explained, recalling that incident that had happened last winter. After that, he'd place flames all over the living room and dormitories, to warm them up. The tower was the coldest place of the castle, but the Slytherin common room had to be cold, too. Everyone else that had tried to do it had failed, so he wasn't really sure of how he managed it. He didn't even have to concentrate at all. It was then when he realized that they were talking normally, instead of constantly insulting each other. It was nice for a change, but he wondered how long it would last.
"It is funny to see you fall. And trust me, you wouldn't catch me."he replied with a smile, leaning back on the wall. He was way to fast for her, and he always managed to get away. If he ever dared to break the rules, he doubted he'd get caught. He always managed to escape, to squirm his way out of things.

"In one of my infamous prefect rounds around school, I managed to stumble across an open classroom..." She felt like smacking herself, and she did, although it was mentally. There was one day, where they didn't close the door all the way because it was pretty much near bedtime, they figured no one would be wandering around, except she had forgotten about the prefects. She should have figured that prefects would be walking around, so late at night. They had to stop the kids from going out past their bed time, why didn't she think about it before? She wouldn't have even guessed that Ryan had seen it, of all people.
"You don't trust him enough to tell him, then?" She wasn't really sure. Sure, part of it may have been trust, she didn't really trust anyone. But then, she didn't want to hurt Rick by telling him to get lost because she had a boyfriend, she didn't like hurting people, it made her feel really bad. She merely shrugged. "That's part of it. But if I screw up somehow, Rick could go blabbing, and I don't want Matt to get hurt." She couldn't bear the thought of the look of betrayal and hurt that would creep upon his perfect features. It would just crush her whole being. And she always managed to go screwing something up, so the less Rick and Matt knew when that did happen, the better for both of them. Burgundy really had to just stop playing with guys' hearts, it wasn't healthy was it? Although, it never really stopped her.
"You still didn't tell him. But don't worry, I won't tell anyone. You know he secretive I am." She smiled back at him. He was really secretive, and that was grateful. She didn't want someone who would babble in the first 5 minutes of meeting someone else. "I haven't told anyone, not even Maddi." Which was crap because friends told friends everything right? Even if those friends were really close? But she didn't want Maddi to tell Matt because Burgundy knew that Matt and Maddi were close -and she didn't really mind- and Maddi sometimes had the mouth of a blabber mouth. She just couldn't tell, it would break his hear then it would break hers.
She saw him stiffen and suddenly she wished she would have never even considered asking the question. She pulled her hat down over her ears, for it was the kind of hat that usually would just slowly ride up and leave her ears bare, but it was her favorite one, she had gotten it from her mom when she was only two years old. It was her only remembrance of her parents. She watched Ryan as his face was full of thought. She wondered what he was thinking about, probably Molly, it was clear that he was so in love with her.
"She..." He couldn't even continue, not that she wanted him to. She understood, and it killed her, even though every emotion she felt for Rick shouldn't even be there, they weren't really a couple, just two people who got a good make-out. Maybe Molly had a crush on Rick, and not on Ryan. But that was impossible, the way Molly looked at Ryan, she didn't know, just that there was a big circle of drama. Only, she was grateful that she wasn't in it. "oh..." She wished she would have kept her big mouth shut and just asked another question, like, 'so, about this weather...?' instead of that stupid one.
Don't know why they don't burn, but I wouldn't touch them just in case." Leave it to Ryan to take a simple spell and turn it into such an interesting one, he was always smart like that. She watched the flames, having no desire to touch them, she liked to keep her body parts thanks. "Well, I have no intention of touching one. But it's really interesting." She commented out loud, more so to herself, but Ryan probably heard her, not that she cared, although right now she was probably feeding his big ego, making it even bigger, if that was possible. "It is funny to see you fall. And trust me, you wouldn't catch me." Well, he had her there. Watching people fall was quite hilarious, even if laughing made her feel mean, although watching Ryan fall and laughing was a different story. And not to mention the fact that he had her at the other part too, she was quite slow when she would chase after Ryan. But she had no interest in running miles, she would rather hang out with friends. She smirked in return. "I'd find a way to get you, when you least expect it." She didn't say she would right after she fell, oh no, she would wait it out, make him a little nervous, that was always the fun part about revenge, not telling the person when it was going to happen then BAM! it happened. It made her laugh all the time. She noticed the book he had, still sitting next to him, untouched. She wondered what he was reading, and if it was any good. Or maybe it was for class. "What are you reading?" She asked after a few seconds of silence. She hated silence.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

. ryan He frowned, girl problems... He had never ever been good at giving advice to girls, since his response would always be "guys are stupid", leaving him in a very awkward position. But he did doubt that Rick would go babbling off to anybody. The two boys didn't get along much, but if he was Molly's friend it must mean he was trustworthy. Of course, he didn't really know the boy, so he wasn't sure of how far he'd go if Burgundy hurt him. Not to mention about Matt -that was his name!-, that forth year would be shattered if he realized that Burgundy didn't only like him. Sure, she said that Rick and her were long over, but he had the feeling that she still liked him.
"I see why you're doing what you're doing. But I do not approve, what if he finds out on accident? He'll get madd-er. he shrugged, knowing that she probably didn't need or want his advice, as she had probably already decided. But the fact that he was giving her advice freaked him out, it was as if they were friends again. He sighed, no more cool fights.
He nearly gagged, Maddi? He had completely forgotten that they got along well. Really well. Like sisters. He swore under his breath, resting his head on the wall and sighed. Why did all the girls that he liked/ had liked got along? Plus, Burgundy knew perfectly well how much he liked Molly, as she could read him like a book. He couldn't believe it...she was going to go and tell Maddi, who liked him, and who he had kissed barely a day ago. And then Maddi would get mad at him because she'd think he was using her, Burgundy would be mad because she'd be defending Maddi and Molly just flatly hated him. His head was starting to hurt, and he felt like doom day was coming. If Burgundy found out Maddi and him had made out, it would trigger a series of horrible events. Some of them where he got mad and others where he was tortured by a group of mad, insane girls. Oh god no, how the hell had he gotten involved in all of this?
"You tell her...everything?"he asked carefully, taking his hat off and running his hands over his hair, like he did when he was nervous. He prayed that Burgundy didn't already know...please please please. Oh man he was so screwed. Maddi was aware of this feelings for Molly, but he hoped she didn't feel used, and that Burgundy didn't give her a reason to do so. Oh god.
She only said oh, which assured him that she knew what he meant. It seemed that Rick and Molly had something going on, which made neither of them happy. He sighed, why was always he the one that got screwed? Although Burgundy didn't end up too well in the picture this time, either.
He laughed at her, as she watched the flames around them. They were pretty odd little things, maybe he could keep one as a pet. It would do it's job much better than Whiskey, that was for sure. The darn cat didn't do anything at all. "I touched one once, and it didn't burn. But it started fuzzing and acting all weird. So no, for your sake and mine, don't." he shook his head, turning his head to observe the flame to his right. It gave off a slight heat, so the ten that surrounded them would surely protect them from the biting cold.
He rolled his eyes, he'd heard that way too many times. There was no corner in the whole of Hogwarts that he didn't control, and his ears had been attuned to hear the faintest steps and the lightest of breaths. And it was all Christopher's fault. After 6 years, he doubted that anyone could ever jump or scare him ever again. But Burgundy was evil enough to come up with a insane plan to scare the wits out of him. "Can't top Chris' ways, I assure you." he nodded, leaning forward and smiling. Truly, he had enough scary experiences for a life time when he was with Chris, including jumping off a building. Or nearly. He didn't want more.
Her sudden interest caused his eyebrow to raise, and grabbed the book from his side. "Magical Plants and where to find them" he told her, reading out loud the title of that very common herbology book. He just had to read a chapter, so he'd be done in a second. "Potions homework, is it?"he asked, eying her bag that looked heavy. Only potions had those huge books, and potions was the only subject that required a lot of time for homework. He loved potions, but it was hard work.

"I see why you're doing what you're doing. But I do not approve, what if he finds out on accident? He'll get madd-er." She didn't really think about that. Maybe she should tell him, or just have them not meet, and promise her that she would make Matt not utter her name when he was in his presence. But then Matt would get suspicious. It was a lose-lose either way. And was he giving her advice? Usually he didn't give her advice, and it really didn't shock her that he didn't like her decision. "Well, I can't just pop out and say, 'oh by the way, I have a boyfriend. And that boyfriend happens to be a year younger then me." She felt miserable and exhausted.
And once again it was like he had turned off and only paid attention to what was going on in his head. He looked greatly scared, and greatly confused. Why was he scared that she was really close to Maddi? But, he was probably over thinking something, what that was she honestly did not know, but it couldn't be good with the looks on his face.
"You tell her...everything?" Burgundy nodded, wondering what the big deal was. She stared at him with interest. What could honestly be so bad that he had to act all nervous? He had taken his hat off and ran his hand through his hair, he only did that when he was nervous, what the hell could he be so nervous about in the first place? "Yeah, but I don't go around spilling secrets." Maybe he was afraid that she would tell his secret to Maddi who would in turn tell the whole world? She thought it was obvious how Ryan felt about Molly, the whole school could basically see it -thanks to the snitch. "Why, is there something I shouldn't mention?" She raised an eyebrow. What could be so devastating to tell Maddi? This was starting to get interesting.
"I touched one once, and it didn't burn. But it started fuzzing and acting all weird. So no, for your sake and mine, don't." She raised an eyebrow at him. It fuzzed? That wasn't a good thing to experience, she didn't want fuzzing happening. That was a weird conversation starter, they fuzzed. And besides, talking about fuzzing flames was better then talking about Molly and Ricky, she would pick this topic over that. "They fuzz?." She watched the one to her left, imagining it burst into little fizzling smoke. "You have way to much times on your hands." She chuckled. If he could make fires fly and fuzz and still get almost perfect, if not then perfect, marks. How did he do it?
"Can't top Chris' ways, I assure you." She merely chuckled. Chris could be quite the person, even though she had only spoken like, a few times, she got the vibe that he liked a good laugh or eighty. But she might be able to, if she really tried hard enough. "I don't know, I can think of some scary stuff." Well, stuff that could land her into another detention, but that was scary to some people. Like Ryan, he had never had a detention if she remembered correctly, if he ever got one he may just have a heart attack. Maybe Burgundy should help him land one? That would be pretty scary to him. She grinned at him and snickered. Oh yeah, that would be great.
"Magical Plants and where to find them" She looked at the book and wondered how he could read it. She really wasn't one to study magic plants, although it was good to know which one was which, just incase something happened. She liked her potions class the most, it was the most fun. And it was even more fun when someone blew themselves up. Although, that usually happens once in a blue moon. But still, it was quite hilarious to see -and hear- how someone had to redraw their eyebrows for a couple days.
"Potions homework, is it?" She sighed and looked at her bag while frowning. She didn't like homework, it cut into her free time. But at least it wasn't herbology homework. That would make her have a snore fest and then some. "Yeah. An essay, of course." She rolled her eyes, knowing full well that she should get started, at least work on it for a little bit, but right now Ryan was distracting her, and even though she sometimes couldn't stand him, he was better then the potions homework that laid there, waiting to be finished.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

. ryan He would admit she was kind of in a boy pickle. He'd never been in a situation like that, but he was in something similar. Somewhere where he had to choose, knowing that his decision would hurt someone. Choosing was never easy...how he wished that he lived in a world where he didn't have to chose. Although that would be a bit boring, it would save some broken hearts and tears, but he wouldn't learn from his mistakes. He sighed, it was all so hard. "He will find out, sooner or later. But I doubt he'll be mad...you two are over now, right?"he asked. Surely Rick wouldn't mind, since he was the official playboy of the school...right? "And who cares if he's younger?"he asked, not knowing why she cared about that. Surely Molly was older than him, but, did it matter? It was only for a few months, anyway. Nothing to freak out about. Age didn't matter at all, at least not for him.
He pursued his lips, damn him and his not being able to hide his emotions with the right people. Burgundy couldn't know about him and Maddi, because she'd just get mad at him. Starking mad. Because she would defend her friend, like all girls did. Didn't they realize that sometimes boys didn't think? Or got governed by a strange impulse to do something stupid? Not like he regretted kissing Maddi, not at all. It had been all what he had needed, but of course, the complicated minds of women would make it seem like he was using her. Which was not true, as he also liked Maddi, just not as much as he liked Molly. It wasn't fair. His heart had decided to be just flatly cruel to him. "Mhm...no. I mean...I don't know. You..."he sighed, "You know me very well, and that could upset Maddi. Thats all I'm saying. And that I'm sorry. And please don't hate me, it wasn't like that at all."he blurted out too quickly. He didn't want to say anymore, so he crossed his arms over his chest and huffed. It was not fair, he could lie to everyone minus Burgundy, what was the deal with that? She had lied to him, numerous time, why couldn't he do the same? If she asked him what was going on he wasn't going to even open his mouth, in case more words spilled out.
He rolled his eyes, no, he just loved learning. "No, I just like to impress people."he replied cheekily. He hadn't initially done it to impress her, but the more amazed she was the better he felt. Everyone would be wondering how he did it and he'd look like an awesome wizard with great skills. Sure, he was Ravenclaw and one of the smartest boys in the year, but he still felt like he wasn't using his magical abilities to their potential. And the fact that people didn't think he wasn't a real wizard because he hadn't been born with his abilities. He rolled his eyes at that, well that little trick would show them.
He laughed, doubting they'd ever beat Chris' scheming evil little plans. But she could give it a try, to see if she could impress him. Maybe, he was supposed to die when Chris, Maddi and Burgundy scared the wits out of him on a lonely, dark evening. Dying from a heart attack, that would teach them not to be scaring people all the time. But for the time being, he was going to watch out after every corner. He didn't want to die so young, he still had a lot of life to live.
"Ugh, potions essays are horrible!"he threw his hands up in the air, and sighed heavily, "you have to look everywhere to find those ingredients."he remembered all the ingredient quests he had done during the course of his Hogwarts life, and the ones that he still had to do. He groaned, why couldn't they just give them the ingredients already?

"He will find out, sooner or later. But I doubt he'll be mad...you two are over now, right?" Well, she wasn't really sure if they were over or not. It's not like she had a chance to ask him about it. She merely shrugged, not really sure. In a way, they probably were, but in a way, they probably weren't. That last thought had kind of confused her, she had to think about it for a second. "I'm not really sure what we are now." She answered truthfully. It was all confusing, because it just was. Relationships and feelings usually were confusing though, sometimes they made her want to just jump off a bridge because they were just...bleh. They were just that.
"You know me very well, and that could upset Maddi. Thats all I'm saying. And that I'm sorry. And please don't hate me, it wasn't like that at all." She gave him a funny look. What was going on? Why would she hate him? And why would that upset her? Burgundy's mind ran 100 miles -or very fast- at the possibilities that could have happened. She merely scrunched her eyebrows together, thinking very hard. "Um, well that's all very nice, but I'm confused." She decided after a few minutes of thinking that it could be anything. Did maddi and him have a fight? She just needed to stop thinking for a second and just relax. Ryan and Maddi couldn't have had a fight because they were so close it was kind of crazy. Then what in the world could it be? She looked at him and sighed. Oh the drama that everyone got themselves into.
"No, I just like to impress people." She rolled her eyes in return. He really did like to impress people and then some. But she liked it too, but she wouldn't go and make some trick up, that probably everyone will figure out to do eventually, however it was pretty cool, and she had to admit, she was impressed, even though she didn't want to admit it in any shape, way or form. "You don't have to tell me twice." It was her turn to roll her eyes at this this time.
"Ugh, potions essays are horrible!" She looked at him and tried to hold in the laughter that threatened to break out. He was so funny when he just started talking about school, he got so serious. "Agreed." She nodded in agreement. They were the worst, for some reason they were longer then anything she had ever had to write, and it seemed as the year dragged on the longer they got. How was that fair?
"you have to look everywhere to find those ingredients." She sighed at that. She had had the joy of walking around, trying to find something that she needed. It took her almost all day to find it. Burgundy really wished that someone would just have them given to her, they should supply them themselves, it would save the students tons of time. "I know, I went looking yesterday and it took all day." She sighed. The essay was due...well, she forgot when it was due, but it was soon. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

. ryan She pondered for a moment before answering, which made him think that she didn’t even know the answer herself. Well that was not good, as it left her more confused than before, if that was possible. He waited for her answer, trying to figure out what was going through her mind as the memories seemed to whiz past her eyes. When she finally answered, he scrunched up his nose, as if admitting that she was quite in a bit of a problem. “Talk to Rick then. Maybe clear out what’s going on?” he shrugged, feeling rather helpless. He wasn’t the best guy to go running to for love advice, as he could’t even apply it to himself. Plus, he had hardly ever had to deal with love problems, so he wasn’t really sure how to handle them. If there was any school question, then he was the man you should run to. In love affairs…well, he could make an effort and try to honestly help you, but it normally wasn’t of any help.
Sighing, he dusted the non-existent dust from his grey pants. Well if she was confused, then his head was just chaos. He said no more, and just looked at a distant point, trying to block out all his thoughts and feelings and just concentrate on the dot. It was just so mesmerizing, so alluring…he was sure Burgundy thought he was insane by now, if she hadn’t though it before. He wasn’t going to say any more, as she’d know what he was referring to if she spoke to Maddi. And if Maddi told her, which he wasn’t entirely sure of. She didn’t look like the girl that would gossip, and he didn’t go around telling Chris everything, he just found out magically. He hadn’t told anyone about the encounter with Maddi, and he hoped she’d done the same thing; it was a known fact they were both sick of the gossip. “Well, that’s two of us.” he replied bluntly, leaning forward and resting his head on his arm, sighing yet again. If what he said confused her, well she couldn’t imagine how confused he was. And he really hoped she didn’t find out before he was gone or she’d rip his hair out, and he pretty much adored his hair, it was really soft. Back to the point, there was no damn way he was telling her everything, not now anyway. Maybe when she chased behind him screaming like a mad woman he would confess, but he hoped that wouldn’t happen.
She rolled her eyes at her egocentric statement, and he couldn’t help but smirk. Some people did not know when he was kidding. Burgundy included. He obviously hadn’t done it for attention, he was a shy person for god’s sakes, but because he was cold. And he liked to experiment. And if, because of experimentation, he discovered a way to not freeze to death he would embrace it like no other. ”You know you’re just jealous because you don’t know how to do it. Admit it.” he accused, leaning forward. In reality, he didn’t know how to do it, either. He just knew he had to move his wand someway after he conjured Incendio and it was done. Plain and simple. No fancy-shamzy things going on, no unknown hexes. But it was something he couldn’t explain how he did it, he just did. Now he knew what to get Burgundy for her birthday, a portable flame, to keep her company.
How they’d managed to go from nearly clawing their eyes out to actually maintaining a normal school conversation was unknown to him. And the fact that they were maintaining that conversation was even more bizarre. He wondered how long it’d be until they started again. ”I spend hours looking for the damn ingredients. Although luckily, reading books like these”he poked his herbology book, ”Are useful when you have to find the whereabouts of strange plants. And other books in the library, too. It makes life much more easier… and less painful.”he added the last statement quickly, remembering how once, looking for a plant he’d mistook it for another, much more venous one. After a day in the hospital wing, he had to sneak out at nighttime and look for the plant, then write the whole essay that was due the next morning at 5am. Not even the hospital excuse was good enough for their potions teacher, not even coming from him. He stopped for a moment, trying to remember what his last potions essay had been about…something around the proprieties of some very rare liquid found in the mountain caves. It was said it supposedly stopped you from aging, although he couldn’t believe it. It had been an interesting topic, though, and all the girls seemed keen in doing the essay on time and asking him questions about it.
